The 2 storey studio is situated in a tranquil road in the center of Pinet. There is a small holding nearby so from the sunny court yard you can here the horses neighing and the cock crowing.

Downstairs, there is a lounge/kitchen/dining area though we imagine that most meals will be taken outside! The kitchen is equipped with a full sized oven, 4 burner gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, extractor fan and obviously an oyster opener!

There is a comfortable sofa-bed, television and DVD’s should you be so inclined.

Upstairs, there is a bathroom equipped with toilet, shower cubicle, washbasin, heated towel rail and shaving socket and a bedroom which has either a 6 foot double bed or 2 3 foot single beds depending on your choice.

The studio has remote control reversible air conditioning upstairs and downstairs and the windows and door are double glazed.

Outside, there is a private, walled courtyard with table and barbecue.

Free car parking spaces are just 25 metres away.

Pinet – the village

Pinet has a population of 1000 and is a typical wine making village of the region. The old quarter (where you are situated) is made up of stone houses where the ground floor was used solely to make and store wine. The living quarters are on the first floor.

Pinet is famous for the dry white wine which bears its name ‘Picpoul de Pinet’. The grape type is ‘Picpoul’ and the wine is a perfect accompaniment to the delicious seafood of the Etang de Thau, which is just 5 kilometres away.

The village has a café, 2 bakeries, a general store and a tobacconist/ newsagent and surprising enough lots of wine caves! There is also a small market each Tuesday.
